Parkroyal On Beach Road , Singapore

Summer is always a great time to go Singapore....as it would be the Singapore Great Sale !! I love the sale over there, its very much entertaining, not just the country, but the items too *wink*


So, off we went again for the the summer sale and this time, we stayed somewhere just slightly "off" the main city area and stayed at Beach Road.


Where this place is, if you know about Arab Street, this hotel is located opposite the street....so for the Muslims, in terms of getting Halal food, it would not be an issue at all.

I know, its like some kind effects, with the photo taking, from the room, but kind of cool isn't it ? Also , if you can see, it is actually the opposite street, where you have to cross the main roads ( the intersection in front )

Overall, the room, is v e r y t h e s m a l l ...... my daughter had a shocked, as so used to a m u c h b e t t e r r o o m s i z e .......pardon the typing but, t h a t ' s h o w w e f e l t .......

The above is as when we come in, you would see this already......and this is the Deluxe room, which is the 2nd room type category. So if it's very small already, can you imagine a Superior Room ?

And its a single bed....not super single, but single...

A sofa, which the table in the middle, can be taken off...or be push left or right, for more space.

But that's all to it, for me to show the room.....small right ? anyway, they have quite a nice pool and a Spa on the same floor....

So, what can I say about this hotel ? well..........

1. Location is great, not so far from Orchard, if you are driving and fam with the roads in SIN
2. But can be a distance to the MTR, unless you are willing to walk...its about 7 to 10 mins walk. 
3. Great restaurants around the area, in fact they have the community place food court not so far from the hotel
4. Rooms are definitely very small....how can we fit in the children ?
5. I would say the hotel would be fine if you are travelling on work, business travellers, that it would be either one or two of you .
6. Not a family oriented hotel 
7. The only thing I like is that, you can take away the coffee from the breakfast buffet....they have normal coffees, cappuccino and etc.... so, yes, I took Caps every day :) 

So my dear readers.... I have said my thoughts.
